Mobile?

I am contemplating a visit through the south within the next few weeks and was wondering if anyone has tips on best places to stay in Mobile?

It depends on what you are looking for. Lowgear is correct that I-65/Airport Blvd. is a main drag and that may be where a lot of providers have incall, but many of those hotels (motels) are pretty low end. If you want a nice safe hotel in downtown near the river front, stay at the Battle House Hotel. It's very nice. Rates are not bad - probably $179/night. Very easy to visit people there and it has a good restaurant.

The Fairfield is a pretty decent priced hotel along the I-65/Airport corridor and allows easy access to decent (for Mobile) restaurants.
