What is a Nuru massage?

I keep seeing providers advertise they do Nuru massage. I have referenced different sights on what constitutes a Nuru massage. All sources state that a Nuru massage originated in Japan as a form of body to body contact causing sexual stimulation using a gel that is seaweed based. This is my interpretation of a true Nuru massage.

My question obviously is, if any other substance is used besides the traditional seaweed based gel, is it a Nuru massage or does the body to body sliding process constitute a Nuru massage? I personally think the term is way over used.

For me, I have just experienced Nuru with Diamond Dream/Jenet. I had an awesome experience with her.
