a whole slew of beliefs and science, or actually anti-science, flourished and was promoted to prominence in Germany by the Nazi's and any attempt at to speak, act or promote truth was condemned and met with severe consequence. nationalism fell into lockstep with racism and propaganda

likewise today, we find our institutions cowed by political correctness, scapegoating, hate and bitterness and racial agitation and where there is a willingness to accept any lie and see any event in racial terms and caused by racism until truth not fitting with this racial narrative is at risk
