I have what should be a relatively easy question about income taxes. Can anyone point me to an online forum where I might receive an answer (or, alternatively, PM me to volunter a couple minutes of time)?

TIA.
IRS.GOV?

Not really suitable for this question.

once the IRS falls in love with you, they never, ever forget you....

So,,, invest a few buck and see an accountant...if not that, then look up "enrolled agent" in Google -

Either of them can, for a small fee, advise you on anything you want to know.... but be warned that even they can be wrong... point in case:

Today, I just got what is starting to be a annual love letter, from the IRS....As a guy who is a CPA, CMA, has an MBA and multiple master degrees in shit I don't' even do any more, I don't even do my own taxes - too friggen complex, in that I must file in every state in which my partnerships earn income....

If irs.gov isn't suitable, it's not a simple question. Their web site is a treasure trove of tax information.
