COMMUNISM IN VENEZUELA

Has anyone seen the disaster in Venezuela where scores of people are being killed by the government. There have been some sad images.

I seen the news footage and it's messed up when that dictator Maduro treats people like that. Communism is retarded! Fuck communism!

The Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela appears to be coming undone, and Chavismo can't survive well beyond it's founder. Sad! A warm and beautiful people who deserve better.

That place has been fucked up for years.

This is not new.....the same old shit....just more visible.

Very fucked up. Family over there went to protests in the interior of the country and left promptly for fear of their lives. Maduro is still blaming Capriles for the unrest. I stopped traveling back about 5 years ago. Safer for family to come here.

I agree its been fucked up for years like most other third World Countries due to corruption and much more.
But this government is doing to these unarmed kids is unacceptable.
Watched videos and read today that many of the Military are refusing to fire on the people and they have even been killed or are incarcerated.
Because of this Maduro asked Castro to send him troops and they have arrived.
Cuban Military is in charge and Venezuela is no longer.
Its genocide and not what democratic countries are waiting for to intervene.

Has anyone read any of the news stories where government agencies in the US are trampling on the Constitution and the rights of US Citizens while the people elected to represent us and make sure that the Executive Branch is held in check from imposing it's will with either the stroke of its pen or the through the use of fear enforced by those aforementioned agencies sit idly by and play one upsmanship games to our own detriment. What about citizens dying abroad when our government could have prevented it? What about the NSA collecting private communications? What about the FCC monitoring newsrooms? What about the IRS? What about a fucked up ACA that no one knows how it will work but we passed it anyway.

Fuck Venezuela. We've got plenty of our own problems here. And yes, more people will soon be dying as a direct result if we don't start doing something about it.

I talked with a man from Venezuela while on a plane. He was from Venezuela and lamented about how bad it had become and how the government had turned to communism and it was way past socialism. He remarked how he saw the United States going down the same path with many parallels in his country. He could not understand why we would allow ourselves to do that. I told him that there were too many idiot sheep and that Venezuela did not have them all. He agreed.

I lived in Cuba (Fidel is an awesome chess player), I travel SA and have family and friends in Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Chile and Argentina. Yes we sort of are all over the place.

Anyways some of the pictures shown of Venezuela are 2 years old, some are other countries. Yes it is a disaster but MAduro is the president elect, the revolt is people trying to get him out of power and in venezuela the last poll showed a 78% agreement with the government.

My friends in Venezuela are ok, I guess when you have money you are ok anywhere but we cannot be quick to judge because the truth always comes years after the fact. That is why I hope it gets resolved without much bloodshed, but as far as me believing the media, not quite. There is USA money involved in the revolts and it has to do with petroleum.

These are my 2 cents. I just thing that disregarding communism as a viable way of living all together without us living there is bad. Also when 80% of companies neglect to make business with you in purely philosophical grounds yes there will be a scarcity of products (like Cuba).

And before I am accused I am a US citizen, but I'm also a spaniard.
