Yahoo has crashed and may be bungled up all day. According to the Yahoo Answers forum, evidently they tried to install an update that was incompatible. So, if you are trying to contact a provider, say ME, through Yahoo, better call instead. PMs won't work unless the lady is onsite because the email notifications won't be received.
