Visiting dallas

Hey everyone. I'm coming back to town this Friday-Sunday. Last time I stayed in the downtown area and was told that it's not the ideal area. So where is? I've stayed in the galleria before for non work related reasons. Is that area ok? I'll be traveling to Oklahoma for a bit sat so I don't want to stay south. Any info from clients and providers is very appreciated. I always get 3 or 4 star hotels but really don't want to end up in a crappy part of town. Thanks so much

Galleria area is usually good. Stay out of Addison city limits.
