Tom Cotten wants to boycott the Olympics coming up in China

I was watching CNBC Squawk Box when Cotten said this stupid statement.

Are my friends on the right or left for that matter really of this mindset?

It sounds WOKE AF to me.

They do owe us 10 trillion or so, not sure if boycotting the Olympic would do anything. Maybe send a couple pipe hitters to kidnap Xi instead.

This is a prime example as to where the entire World, including the United States, stands on the issue of Totalitarian Thugocricies vs True Democratic governments.

We sent the team to Germany before WW-2 because Hitler had yet invaded anybody and had not committed mass genocide.

Communist China was founded by possibly the greatest mass murder in history, Mao. It still has exactly the same Government. This government can simply make you disappear. The population is at the total mercy of some of the most brutal thugs to ever be in power. If you stand up to them, they can simply put you against the wall.

But, they are also an economic giant. They have a ready made workforce of 1.5 billion slaves at their disposal. Through manufacturing might, they now have much of the Western Democracies beholding to them for everything from micro chips to toilet paper.

So we all are willing to look away. The China Man can do as he pleases with impunity. Invade other Countries? Look the other way. Unleash a weaponized virus on the world that kills millions and ruins economies.? Look the other way.

We should be ashamed. But we are not. We would rather have cheap cell phones.

Bullshit. China owns about a trillion in US debt, dumping it would certainly cause a hiccup and interest rate increase but would cause nothing close to a worldwide depression. Biden’s (and every other president in the last 50 years for that matter) wild spending causes far more damage to the US than China could ever dream of.
