Abortion

Well, it happened again for the seventh time. Wound up staying the night in Atlanta, enjoying my time at the casino and buckled over at the blackjack table.

Another damn kidney stone. This one put me in my bloody ass. Was taken to the hospital, x-rayed and MRI. Stayed in the hospital overnight, waited on the urologist the following day.

It was inevitable, they had to pull it. Another “cysto” They had to go through penis and pull another one out.

Hobby time done for 3-4 weeks.

I have never had one but I cut salt out my diet 20 years ago for the most part and drink nothing but water and lots of it. Just to limit my chances after watching my dad suffer with stones when I was a kid. I will never forget watching him on the floor of the bathroom riving in pain crying like a child. My dad was a tough sonofabitch probably the toughest man I ever knew. I never saw him cry once other than the time he passed some kidney stones. After seeing that I made my mind up that I could go the remainder of my life without knowing that kind of pain.

Hope you are on tons of pain meds and heal quick.

I’m home now, with a cathiter. Pain meds are working and will sit back in my recliner and relax.

Hey, Aussie -

I wish you a quick recovery.

I had a cystoscope done many years ago, but not for kidney stone removal. Even though I was under anesthesia during the procedure, the first few times that I peed afterwards felt like I was pissing razor blades - it was not a fun experience by any stretch of the imagination....

Take care.

I feel for you.
I know that pain all too well.
First one, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me.
Never had pain like that.
Hours of thinking I was constipated or trying to piss and couldn't.
Then when the pain was so bad that I started throwing up, I caught a ride to the hospital.

My best friend named his kidney stones. He showed me his "babies" and I still cannot thinck how they passed thru his pecker. I can only hope he has a huge urethra.
