displaying my porn collection

I have over 50 years worth of Playboy magazines in good condition, and I've been thinking about how to display them. The problem is, I can't think of anything that'll showcase them while also protecting them.

I've seen magazine racks, and it's not what I'm looking for. I was thinking about maybe thin "shelves" along the wall with a little lip for the magazines to sit on individually and facing out, but I don't want them to get damaged by the sun either.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can do this? Or would I be better off not displaying them? They're stored in my closet for now, but nobody can appreciate them there!

If you put them inside anything make sure it's acid free.

Are there acid-free light-protecting magazine sleeves? Maybe for comic book collections that I could repurpose?

Edit: Okay, looking up comic book display ideas brought up a lot more options lol. I think I have an idea...

Do you have or know someone with a router, can route out a groove and you can paint or stain however you want. If you don’t pm me I have one.

Wondering if the OP would want a rider to the ol insurance policy...

(Zont does NOT have an insurance license!)

Maybe you can get the Farmers Insurance guy to get you some coverage..

Those are really good ideas guys, thank you. I'll have to have a better idea of the room before I make any big decisions.

That would be perfect, maybe I could get protective jackets for them and make wall shelves... I'll def be in touch if I decide to do that.

Classe300 & willy wanker, even if I do end up displaying them I think the poser idea is really good. Do any of you have any favorite editions, or are there any months/years that would be better up on a wall? Looking for a man's opinion... these will probably be displayed in my future incall, if that makes a difference.

Similar to a prior mention, I've also seen these in large assemblies, like 4 magazines tall & 5 across that have openable (is that a word) Pexi covers over the individual magazines. That was a custom build by a carpenter and was on a wall at an advert agency type of place.

Plastic Man - I personally like playboy magazines because they show that a woman can still be sexy without being lewd.

unique_carpenter - That sounds exactly like what I'd be looking for. You probably don't find those for sale often, they are mostly custom built or custom orders I imagine?

If the porn belonged to me I’d put it out in the recycling bin and concentrate on getting my life together. Whew
