Bob Dylan a no show for Nobel prize

Bob Dylan didn't attend the award ceremony - but did anyone really expect that he was going to show up ?

Talk about a ceremony with pomp and circumstance.

Heard he is part Native American, thought it was more important to protest with the other Indians out in the Dakotas, to help fuck up that oil pipeline!

He had a previous commitment he could not break.
Nothing more, nothing less.

I wish they would all do that rather than having to listen to their bullshit.
Put it in a song and sing it and if it is good I will listen.
Hell I might even tap my foot.

But.....but......Mick Jagger got knighted, and went to the ceremony. The thing is, the Queen refused to personally hand him the award, or whatever it is they get.

Thank you America for no royalty.
