In Rochester? I don't have a clue.

In Buffalo:

Bocce's on Bailey, Just Pizza on Main and Winspear or Harris Hill and Genesee, Imperial on Abbott, Airport on Genesee, LaNova and Mr. Pizza, but not all locations are created equal. Oh yeah, Leonardi's on Eggert and Millersport - but all the Bocce knock offs are pretty interchangeable.

But on the whole, I'd rather be in Chicago eating deep dish or stuffed.
I haven't tried this place myself recently but some co-workers swear by Mr. Shoes.

I still can't figure out what all the hype is about Imperial. I think it is not that great.

Bocce is very good.

Another good one is Joe's NY style pizza at the corner of Amherst and Grant St.

A couple days ago I had a Bocce's on 8214 Transit near Maple that was great, just like the Bocce's of old.

Santora's on 3440 Transit near Clinton in West Seneca makes great pizza.

LOVE Chester Cab pizza on Park Ave in Rochester.
It's my favorite pizza in the city and for dessert you can head to Baker Street Bakery right around the corner.
They are both fabulously delicious!!!

Leonardi's on Bailey back in the day was great. They were the original Bocce knock off. Turns out the secret sauce is just Redpack Tomato Puree straight out of the can. Milano's on Englewood is a very good Bocce knock off too.
Speaking of both fabulously delicious....

Sorry! The mind wanders at times.

I've tried different pizza places in Buffalo and in Rochester, an I come up with Colombini's Pizza on Chili Ave., in Rochester. They make a great thin crust an thick crust, best of all their wings are great too.
