First, sanctions, sanctions, and more sanctions. Every product that can be determined to have been stolen from a non-Chinese inventor, every intellectual property not originating from China, everything stolen over the last 50 years will be embargo'd from this country no matter how circuitous the route. Cancel any and all government contracts with China (like military boots). Begin negotiations with Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Vietnam for the purchase of tactical nukes. Not saying that we would give them any (especially that nut in PI) but we can make a show to put on the pressure. If China wants to play rough, we reserve the right to sink every Chinese ship on the high seas and cyber attacks. We should also be prepared to knock down their satellites. I don't know if there is legal precedent but we can go after all those countries that have contracts with China for raw strategic minerals. The idea being to cut China off from the world and make it hurt. Maybe the world court could issue a penalty for China to indemnify the world. Anyone need 100 billion dollars?

Punative tarrifs, sanctions should do the trick. Embargo should be used ad last resort. Its debatable that other countries will follow.
