With the legalization of sports betting, the subject is no longer taboo. Was curious if there are any professional or semi professional sports bettors on this board. I only handicap one sport and one sport only, and that's the NFL.
Last year was my first to enter the Las Vegas Super contest, and I came in the top 200 out of almost 4000 handicappers. It sucks that you have to bet into stale lines, but that's the nature of the beast.

Oh, a couple of plays I hit when lines opened up, back in April, for week 1, are:
JAX +5.5 vs KC
BAL -3 @ MIA
DAL/NYG Under 46.5
The only one still available is the DAL/NYG total. Sharps don't usually hit totals right away, but the sides have had all the value sucked out of them, at least until we see what teams look like in pre season.
