Cowboys Stadium First Dallas Cowboys Game Tonight

Dallas Cowboys finally get to play in their new home in Arlington tonight at Cowboys Stadium. Has anyone here had an opportunity to visit the new stadium? They have had 3 concerts so far, some soccer friendly games and have been open for tours. I made my first trek their yesterday during a tour, and I have to say, the place is jaw dropping. Jerrah spared no expense with a 1.2 billion price tag that has many features, especially the 40 million HD center-hung video display board television screens.

The tours are less than 20 dollars and last about an hour to hour and a half depending how many tours going on at the same time, yesterday the place was packed with tours and visitors. Its easy to find and you buy your tickets in the Pro Shop. There are no tours on the day of events, and close by noon the day before an event. I plan on attending a few games this year, but if you just want to visit without attending an event, I seriously recommend taking the tour.

I have been to the stadium during the building process. I work for a general contractor and have ties to some of the tradesmen that were on the project and was invited to visit using their company credentials. I have not had a chance to see it in it's completed stage.
I will soon though! Going to be there tonight!

I went to Paul McCartney. I was not too impressed. I am also a season ticket holder. Food is poor. $8 beers. The big tv is set too low...How many punts are going to hit it this year....Maybe the Stadium will grow on me...
A friend of mine was going to check out the "Party Pass" deal. IF I get to go, that will be the only way!

I was there for the first ever sporting event on July 19TH. It was an International Soccer Tournament (CONCACAF Gold Cup) that was being played at several US cities and they played a couple of the quarter finals at the stadium. I was also there on the next weekend for another Soccer Match. I got to sit on both sides of the field in the Club Level Sitting and I was very impressed with the place. I plan on taking the tour that they offer at some time for sure.
The one very minor issue with me was. That I found myself watching the action on that huge screen at times instead of the life action on the field. I myself was also thinking that the screen seemed a bit low and was wondering if punters were going to have a problem with it. I did hear on the broadcast tonight; "That the punters were hitting it at warm-ups".

I also have Season Tickets (Not Club Level), but I did not make it out there tonight. A School Function and I also had to work tonight. Hope to make it next Saturday, but I know that I'll be there on September 20TH. Even if they have to roll me in on a stretcher...
