Hurt Feelings.....

Okay guys. My name is Holli. I am from the KC area and have been around for many years. I have a string of really nice reviews both older and newer and pride myself in the fact that I am a very personable female who likes to make friends. I have never had a bad review of me. Yes my pics are not recent but that is because I try to stay low key. I am a business woman during the day and play all the other times I can. But if you ask anyone who has seen me my body has not changed nor my looks. I recently saw a gentleman who I screened in a different way because he had no references. But I was very careful and thought I was doing him a favor. Maybe helping him get into the hobby. He sent me a very nasty email this morning telling me how unhappy he was with me and that he was going to place his remarks on many boards. This will hurt me. I believe I have many long term friends who will vouch for my accuracy in looks and so forth. This is really upsetting to me I am a woman who is mean nor hurtful to anyone.
There are 2 rules to keep in mind:
  1. Most every lady will get 1 bad review sometime. Whether it is because she had a bad day, he had a bad day, or he was a jerk, it doesn't matter. It will happen. The thing to remember is to look at the reviews overall in order to see the level of service provided. I wouldn't worry about 1 bad comment.
  2. There are guys (and gals) out there who are jerks. Don't worry about them. Most people know who they are and ignore their comments.
And don't let 1 bad comment define you. Rather, let the years of good comments reassure you.

Most guys who run their mouth of are just that run their mouth off action doesn't seem to be their strong suit. What Charles said is correct.

I would not put too much worry into it. Was the session a bad one? Did he not have a smile on his face? What was his age? There must have been something you picked up on. Years ago I worked in the customer service industry and you could count on at least once a week you were gonna draw an asshole that no matter what you did you were never going to please them. You learn to shrug it off.

But on the other hand, it sounds like maybe he was trolling for some sort of freebie or extras from you for not reporting to the boards.

You may also want to ask yourself why you compromised your safety by "screening" in a different manner to accommodate a totally newbie stranger. Do not stray from your tried and true methods because the old saying is true.... No good deed goes unpunished.

Please be safe out there.....
Hi Holli, Sorry this happened to you.

Most review sites even yelp, will have some harsh opinions by the reviewers. They do not think about how it can have a negative impact on others, who depend on making a living through this tuff economy.

I would advise would be for you to contact the review site, most sites will look into it, you may have some success this way. Especially if you are really nice, when contacting them. You can explain your side and ask to have them taken down.
