i work with a few girls each year, but it's not part of my normal photo business. i'm very selective and i don't advertise. however, if you know someone who needs images and will pass through west texas, maybe we can connect.

Lots of luck Stephanie....I plan to check it out (it is only 10 bucks after all ).

ExNYer,
Happy New Year 2014! It feels great to be here.To briefly touch on your quote I believe any woman or man with the desire to excel can achieve greatness in anything they put their mind too. Even in this industry their are still several men who choose their companions for other qualities besides physical attraction. I've personally seen what some would consider an unattractive lady charm a man right away from his long time regular and strikingly gorgeous provider only using her awesome personality and a genuine positive and uplifting attitude. But however this is only my humble personal opinion. If we were all the same life would be boring...would it not??? Best wishes to you and yours for this great New Year!

Cheers

Ms. Lawson, I would love to have a hard copy of your book as well!
I have been trying to upgrade but had a recent set back because I put my faith(and money) in an advertiser who is still a member of this board!
I love books! I am the type who will earmark, underline, etc. and that is not really possible with ebooks.
This career is one that is not taught in school...could you imagine?
You have to 'feel' your way around(pun intended)!
Observe what others are doing and hope that it works for you.
Ask for help, sometimes getting ripped off in the process! ...Someone who offers more and more 'specials' because maintaining a faithful client base is impossible when you treat your clients like second class citizens!
I am an older provider who knows my worth to my demographic audience but am not reaching them, or doing it wrong.
I realize there are pearls of wisdom...I just need the key to unlock them!
Please let me know once your work has been transitioned into hardback.
Thank you,

Forgive the delayed response. I'm still getting used to how this forum notifies you of post. Happy New Year. I can't agree with you more about hard copy books. When it comes to reading in my opinion there's nothing that compares to an old school hard copy book. But now days the younger generation is running wild with technology so you know how that goes. I'm in discussions with a few publishers at the time and hopefully I will get the privilege of getting a paperback version available in the near future. And to your point about your worth you couldn't be more right. Keep focusing on new and unique ways to reach your target audience and it will come together! Have a great 2014 and I'm always an email away if there's anything I can help with.

Cheers,

Stephanie
ok, so i read the book. if that seems quick, it's because it's only about 150 pages, some of which is reference material. the meat of stephanie's work is well written and easy to breeze through.

this is not a super detailed breakdown of any big secrets, but it's a good roundup of very solid advice on business and life. i have a marketing background, and i can say with no hesitancy that stephanie knows her shit. some of her advice might seem like common sense, but unfortunately that's an uncommon commodity. she makes some great recommendations that not only do lots of girls fail to grasp, but lots of real world businesses don't even get right.

my only real beef is with the chapter on photography. no surprise…i'm a professional photographer. my quibbles are small; there are things i say here all the time with regard to true professionalism in my industry that i think she should include. a true pro should at least talk to you about a contract. true pro's will talk to you up front about how the images will look, how they'll be retouched, and what the client has in mind. i also think she's a little low on her pricing estimates.

girls should know how to find a good shooter in a sea of dudes with cameras who will ultimately fail to deliver value…or to deliver at all. steph does a good job, but given how important photography is to an escort's success, i just think the subject deserves a bit deeper coverage.

overall, however, i'd recommend her book. it's easily worth the $10. Originally Posted by john_deere

Thanks for the feedback. The art of professional photography definitely is an extremely important aspect to an escorts success. And although I know a few things It does deserves alot more attention than I could pretend I'm qualified to speak on. To your point In the online advertising world of today the photo image is usually the first thing a client sees. A picture speaks a thousand words and can instantly encourage or discourage a clients decision to book. The things you mentioned are topics that truly could have used a bit more detail, and in hindsight I agree with thoughts. I think a short eBook strictly on the subject of escort photography would be a great read for myself and others. If you ever think about writing one I would be behind it 100%! Honestly I haven't seen one yet that strictly focuses on escorts, and think it would be a big hit. Best wishes and thanks again for the kind review

Warmly,

Stephanie
