It was funny in 2000 that the left asked the SCOTUS to step-in and decide the Bore vs. Bush election issue. When they did and they ruled in favor of Bush the narrative from then on was...SCOTUS hands Bush victory...they asked for it and then cried about the decision.
Ironically later it was PROVEN that Bush did get more votes...the narrative of the left wasn't deterred!!
