"Army of Shadows" is a French film with English subtitles. Has anyone seen it?

My title pretty much says it all.

The movie is very expensive and so before buying it, I wanted to know if anyone had seen it. I've been in a crazy war movie type of binge, last night I watched "The Deer Hunter".

This one sounds great. But I do wonder about the $50+ pricetag. I found one on Ebay that's a lot less but again, curious if anyone would (or could) recommend it.
