I like Fongs Pizza. But I don't know to many other places. I usually stay downtown when I come to DM so it's walkable for me.

Davenport- HARRIS Pizza is the best. Get cheese or sausage

If you are craving Chicago there is a Giordano's location here. My current favorite for best pizza is 7 Stone on University.

Save room for some Whitey's ice cream in Davenport. You should spend a night or two in Cedar Rapids if you are going to the Quad Cities.
