I live in Andorra, am from Houston but don't get home very often.

It's difficult to ascertain exactly what the relationship between Spain and Caladonia is.Catalonia is more like Puerto Rico one sense and a state in another sense. They have autonomy in a general sense.
Is Caladonia like a State, part of a Union much like what we have in the USA. Or is it more like Puerto Rico. Or, is it like Ontario is to the rest of Canada, different language, customs, etc. or perhaps, Crimea to Russia.
Can Spain use Military Force to insure that Caladonia's attempts to gain independence is twarted?
