Sketchy "Tryst" Emails

I'm not sure if this has been brought up lately, but I think it's a good idea to remind everyone (especially those who are newer to the hobby or those who may not be as technologically inclined as others) to be very cautious of clicking links in any of your hobby emails. It could possibly be a phishing attempt by hackers to steal your information.

I have been getting emails that are clearly phishing attempts from accounts pretending to be Tryst. I have seen some that look fairly legitimate, especially one stating that my account needs to be re-verified with a link. Further inspection of the email shows that the address it came from does not belong to the company. I've also gotten emails with the subject line "Hello@Tryst" that say I have a message from someone there with a link to click, but when I delete the email, type Tryst's web address into my search bar and log in, there are no new messages. I have recieved 4 of those today.

When it comes to Tryst emails (or any emails for that matter), I would highly suggest to refrain from clicking any links. Just go directly to the website, log in and go from there.

The amount of phishing emails I get from that site are unreal and I’ve emailed them about it. Every single day I have to filter and report, it’s ridiculous. I’m like I promise you don’t want my identity dude because if you take it you get everything that comes with it

Yep, best thing to do is have your email that’s attached to tryst. Be another email you don’t use for the hobby. You just always know there scammers. Tryst will never email you. All there communication with us is done inside Tryst
