Police on Thursday arrested two people accused of prostitution at a College Station hotel.

Officers responded to Homewood Suites on University Drive around 12:41 a.m. after receiving a call from a hotel clerk who said a woman had arrived in a sheer top and "booty shorts," while temperatures were near 30 degrees outside, and was unable to provide the name of the guest she was visiting, according to the police report.

When police contacted the 44-year-old man from Ithaca, N.Y., in the hotel room, he told them he was spending time with a friend he could not identify, police said. The man eventually admitted his plan to pay the woman $100 for her time, the report stated.

The officers found the 26-year-old Hempstead woman nude around the corner from the room, according to the report. She told officers she had met the man on a dating site but denied any promise of compensation, police said in the report.
Both were charged with prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail. The woman was also charged with Class A misdemeanor failure to identify after police said she provided the wrong spelling of her name as well as false date of birth.

The man was released from jail Thursday morning after posting $3,000 bail. The woman remained in the Brazos County Jail on Thursday night in lieu of $8,000 bail.

Ok, so let me repeat a few things here:

1) In our small towns, DRESSING LIKE A SW and showing up at a family hotel is a bad idea.
(Temperature was in the 30's and she walked in to the Homewood Suites wearing booty shorts and a see through top).

That draws attention. This is why the lady at the front desk called the cops. The provider was foolish, as was the gent, for letting her into his room, knowing she walked in passing the front desk dressed that way.

2) Lying to the cops is a bad idea. The lady gave a misspelling of her name and a wrong birthdate. Hence the arrest on the charge of "Failure to Identify". (Her charges went from Class B misdemeanor to Class A at that point).

I am NOT saying tell the cops everything, but, whatever you tell them needs to be the truth or at least something that can't be proven wrong, LOL.

The guy said he was "visiting with a friend" but could not come up with a name for "his friend".

3) Admitting you were planning to commit a crime is not a good idea.

The man admitted he planned on paying her for sex. Dumb idea. The only reason he got charged with a crime was because of his own admission he planned to commit one.

4) Carrying drugs and/or drug paraphernalia on your person to an outcall is probably not a good idea.
