DO HOBBYISTS CARE ABOUT HAVING TO PAY FOR PARKING IN HOUSTON?

IS IT A BIG DEAL?
If its a few buckets not a big deal but if its 20-30 dollars I get a bit peeved.

Hotels in galleria and downtown will tend to charge for parking. Hotels right next to galleria mall in particular. Sheraton on 610 and Westheimer $12 per hour. Same does for double tree on westheimer. Not a big deal, just an annoyance.

Just avoid the places with Valet parking. They'll lose guy's keys and Tebow help them if they have a fanny pack...

I stress about parking regardless, because my vehicle is tall and doesn't fit in some of the garages in the galleria (4x4 with a roof rack). A lot of time, the issues isn't so much paying, it's the paper trail that follows the payment.

If you fall in love with a particular hotel, maybe you could discount the gentlemen that may have an issue with the parking fee. Just discount the parking fee from the playdate donation. Most shouldn't have an issue though, if anything, the wonderful gents here "Tip". Either way, I wish for you a successful trip and have fun!
Parking is definitely an issue. If I find a provider is staying at a hotel that I will need to shell out $20 for the hour, probably will bow out of the appointment.

Anytime I stay at a hotel where you must valet, I always tell my client that I'll pay for their parking.

In all my years, only one client has ever taken me up on my offer to pay.

For me the money isn't a big deal, its the lack of anonymity and hassle of having to valet. Even if you pay cash they probably still have your plate number.

If an extra 12 bucks is an issue then perhaps guys should find a different hobby.

In my mind, plausible deniability becomes much more difficult when parking in a dedicated hotel garage. The one place I've gone to that had Valet parking also had a Walgreens right across the street with a nice big and mostly empty parking lot. There was also a restaurant to the east which had a decent sized parking lot and some fairly secluded parking if the Walgreens was too much out in the open. It was just a bit more of a walk.

The thing is though, that if you're movements are being tracked then you've probably already got some issues that should have you thinking twice about hobbying. If you're not being followed what are the chances that someone is going to show up at a random hotel with paid or valet parking and start asking questions AND what are the chances that any info is going to be given without a subpoena? I guess there's always the chance of bumping into a co worker or a friend...or your wife, but then it can be an matter of mutually assured destruction.

The issue about valet is what happened to the one guy whose keys were lost. While it was a funny AF thread on here, that would have been a nightmare. IIRC the fucktard actually had to call the cops...lo and behold the valet had misplaced his keys. Valet, even in a legitimate setting always makes me a little bit nervous.
I don't do valets. I don't want others in my vehicle period.
Other than that I don't have a problem parking in garage and paying to do so.

My issue isn’t cost...I will not go where you need a credit card to pay (as many automated garages now are) as I want no paper trail.
