Fosta & Sesta Cleared Senate

Yesterday the Fosta & Sesta bill cleared the Senate the link above explains vaguely the proposed changes. Any new information would be helpful.

So I never knew this existed till now, I'm probably a little bit behind. Someone must have come up with the next loophole already, right?

The only loophole is-- if you like a lady-- email her now. Have a method of contact that doesn't rely on forums, just in case. There is no telling which direction this is going, but I know that Google has begun cracking down on ladies who use Google Drive to hold pictures and video.. and Squarespace is also beginning a crackdown. And.. another site that will remain nameless has opted to remove their forum.

I am behind on learning about this and that saddens me. Do you think we will get an official statement on how it will effect this site? We should always have back up plans.

Some ad sites are already disappearing, even if only temporarily. Save your favorite lady's direct info; find out how to reach her in other methods.

It will likely get challenged in the courts-- but that sort of thing takes time.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of boards go to a more restricted form of advertising (no sexual terms in ads, etc).

So do you guys think we should remove banners and logos from our personal website? Like the Ter logo and p411.

I can think of Four who will reflexively reject the First Amendment challenge and side with law enforcement. Elections have consequences.

Kind of funny how some folks only want to bitch about their rights being violated when they are the ones being fucked with. Yet stand by and knowingly and without any concern watch as other peoples rights are stripped away, and not only not say anything, but some actually root on and support the legal over reach and unconstitutional laws.
