Harris County Attorney Sues Two Northwest Houston Businesses for Promoting Prostitution and Gambling

Despite Houston's love of vice, the city's elected officials take a pretty dim view of anyone promoting prostitution and gambling.

So it came as no real surprise that Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan's office hit Glamour Girls, a northwest side strip club, and RMTC Game Room, an eight-liner joint next door to the club, with nuisance suits.

According to the lawsuit, HPD made several visits to both Glamour Girls and the game room. Over a couple of years, undercovers made 18 arrests prostitution arrests at Glamour Girls...

The suit names Glamour Girls owner Texley Inc., RMCT Game Owner Sharif Kasim Ali and Chong Chul Choe — the owner of the strip center that houses both Glamour Girls and the game room — as defendants.

So far the county attorney's office is only asking for a temporary injunction against both the club and the game room, but the end goal is to get both 'businesses' closed for at least a year.
