I'm sure with your experience we should all take note and listen.

Adultwork.com can be a bit of a mine field if you don't know what you're doing. Like I said, it's a bit of a backpage/eccie hybrid. So you need to dig out info like what you'd find on eccie and ignore the Backpage hype. There are women on it that look hot as hell, but in many instances the photo is fake, or you're reading about a web cam model who says she escorts but really doesn't, or the woman is a "wham bam thank you ma'am" Romanian being run out of an apartment who will give a less than memorable experience.
Adultwork's search engine is powerful, so use that and the reviews to weed out the undesirables. Pay particular attention to the Authenticity section of the search engine. You can choose profiles for women who have verification photos or who are fully verified, and exclude members who Adultwork thinks may not be genuine. Under services, choose "escort" (not webcam, etc.) And you probably want to exclude any women that haven't logged in fairly recently.
After you've done a search, you'll see a number in parentheses by each escorts name. Click on this and it will take you to her ratings and reviews.
Once you get to the profiles, note that there are a lot of tabs at the top of the page -- maybe including gallery, movies, interview, blog, how to contact, prices, etc. It's better designed than most sites I'm familiar with, although a little cumbersome when starting out.
Actually, if any ladies are reading, adultworks.com would be a great place to advertise if it ever gets some traction in the USA, especially with the other sites shutting down.
