Would it be possible for those who wish to chat to be sent an email whenever the chat room is active? I would join in if I knew the chat room wasn't empty. But I typically don't check it for occupants on a regular basis.

What about theme nights? Everyone can get on different days. If everyone knows that at 8:30 every night something was going on in there, I think there would be more visitors over all.
