An elderly couple made and appointment with a well-known sex therapist. At the appointment they explained that they were hoping that they might get some suggestions on how they might improve their mutual satisfaction.
The therapist explain that he had a private room available with a one-way mirror so that he could unobtrusively observe and that after they were finished, he could offer some suggestions.
After about an hour the couple again met with the therapist. He indicated that he didn’t have any immediate suggestions and that perhaps a couple of more visits might be required.
So additional appointments were made, with similar visits.
After the 3rd visit the therapist indicated that he really didn’t notice issues and wasn’t too sure why they were seeking his advice.
After a lengthy silence the man spoke up,
“Well, you see; we’re both married, but to other people. We needed a place to be together. The Hilton charges $250 for a room, the Marriott $225. We can get your room for $175 and still get $120 back from Medicare.”
