How am I supposed to make a counter argument if the question “Marxism or Capitalism” is not fully explained? My question has not been answered yet. What policies do you see the democrats pushing that are marxist in design?
How do you define Marxism?

As you can see, Marxism is a philosophy as to how the rules of society can be set up. The core belief in this philosophy is the existence of a classless sosiety where there is no private ownership of major tenants of any society such as property and business.
Of course, what gets in the way of this philosophy s Human Nature. The philosophy of “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs”, is in conflict with Capitalist based societies where the philosophy of rewards through effort and hard work are emphisised.
The problem with any idea on how to run a society is somebody has to be in charge. It seems that history has proven that societies based on the Marxist Philosophy tend to morph into “Thugocracies”, run by what amounts to a totalitarian dictatorship, such as was found in the Soviet Union, and now in Communist China, North Korea, Cuba, and a few other countries.
These “Thugs” in charge generally have life and death control over the citizenry, to the extent that if you get out of line, they will simply put you against the wall.
I have aid in the past that I am all for a government based on communism, socialism with it’s roots in Marxism as long as I can be in charge, living in my Dacha on the Volga while everybody else is hoeing potatoes in the GULAG.
