First time for everything

I am planning my first trip to Costa Rica in May. I am planning to stay my first three days in SJ then will be heading to Ocotal beach for non-hobby related hobby.

I have read alot of the posts here and tried to do some research on the web.

I am planning on staying at the Sportsman for my first three nights then heading to Ocotal Beach for the rest of my stay.

Any words of advise or pointing in the right direction for any part of my stay in Costa Rica would be greatly appriciated.

Also, is there anything to be had in the Ocotal beach area, and how would I find it?

Jaco Beach is the place to be in Costa Rica. Quite a few of the ladies have left San Jose for Jaco on the weekends. I have a condo there and spend about 60 days a year there.

I'm going in April! Can't wait to get there!
