I Agree With This Fat Socialist

In Seattle, this socialist City Council Member advocates for $15 dollar per hour minimum wage, and I agree with her.
Why?

1. It gets working people off government services and therefore the taxpayers save

2. It takes away the arguments of assholes like WTF who hire illegals because they can't find anyone to do the shitty jobs he offers for the shitty pay he provides. Plenty of people will be begging for jobs with a $15 minimum

3. Reduces the job magnet for immigrants if jobs are scarce and require high pay. Immigration is purely economically driven, anyway

JL - Are you nuts? A $15 minimum wage is MORE THAN DOUBLE the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. If implemented on a national level, it would push up unemployment sharply by causing employers to shrink their work forces and hire less in the future. This won't "get working people off government services" - it will do precisely the opposite. By making jobs a lot more scarce, a $15 minimum wage will mean more people on the dole, not less.
