RIP Jani Lane

I was hating to read this last night as I gave one last look at my facebook mobile before bed that the former lead singer of Warrant passed on.

He was definitely a troubled guy who truly had talent and great songwriting ability. Had he not had such a bad reputation for not being reliable because of drug use or alcohol abuse, he could have easily wrote songs for top 40 artists or kept Warrant relevant like Poison, Motley Crue, etc.

I had some great times to Warrant shows and their music.

When I was living in Akron, OH. I met and hung out with him he was actually a very nice person. He could cook and he was good at it. The world lost a musician. His daughters lost a father. RIP John.

I think "Hole in My Wall" is a reference to glory holes!
