For those that have had sessions with me know that i am very flexible with prices and timing and really anything that accomidates you as my client, But I recently ran into a situation where i had a repeat client txt to make an appointment and in some of these text were pics of him... (which to me i really didn't need)... but he then told me he wanted the same discount that i gave him last time and when i denied him he completly went off about how i make money with all my other clients all day so giving him a discount shouldn't matter. I politely explained that him counting my clients/money would be like me counting his hours at work and making pay according to what he makes, and he then stated that since he was cute he deserved a discount also. So i then was informed that i lost a client and this would not look good for ECCIE.... Ok please someone/ anyone give me insight on weather or not i should have stuck with the initial price just because it was that important to him or if i should expect some compromise in this situation. Since i am still a little new to this it sort of make me confused what would have been the best response to this situation.

Don't ever let anyone BULLY you into offering a discount or a freebie. Trust me...the ones who talk the most crap will NOT have any power over the business you will get by just being you. If you let people take advantage of you, you will never stop.

This guy is an obvious haggler and an idiot trying to use some pathetic board persona to intimidate you. Let me clue you in...you don't need ANY board to make money in this business. In fact, the guys with the most money are not the ones with reviews behind their name in most cases.

You start offering discounts and it's hard to ever get your regular rate again..prime example. Still, you don't have to do anything but what you say you will, and for the price quoted. As long as you are on time, return emails in a timely fashion, don't upsell, and deliver as promised in a safe location, that's all that matters to most of the guys. Some lame brain making threats is not going to affect you. Post an alert in the PR so we know who he is. 2 can play that game.

I agree with London.

I also think that someone making threats to ruin your business for not offering discounts, needs to be publicly outed so other ladies in that area are aware. Texas women have it rough enough in coed, and they are some of the hardest working out there!

The guy has really disrespected her, and given all of us hobbyists a bad name. And I agree with Angel, too. The prices for him should go up b/c of all the crap you have to put up with.
put an alert on him

I meant women are treated pretty bad in that forum in certain areas...not suggesting to post the alert there. PR is right.

Compromise my ass!!!! We don't deserve discounts for any reasons, let alone being cute...lol. THey are appreciated when offered but should not be expected any more than the providers expect a tip. All we should expect is for the providers to do what they say, such as what is in the ad, and them to expect us to read and know what they offer and expect from us.

This is not rocket science

Every provider has the right to set her rates wherever she wants at any time. Every client has the right to decide whether he is willing to pay the rate. If the two don't match up, no harm no foul--but no session, either.

Having stated that principle, I have to say I really don't understand guys who try to bargain providers down. The most important thing (for me, at least) in determining whether it's a good session or not is attitude. Trying to get unadvertised discounts, and especially arguing over it after being refused, has to have a chilling effect. It just ain't worth it!

As I have been told not to reply on a certain individuals comment I will just say that we need to be aware if the guy was told it was a one time thing or not. His looks should have no barrier on his price though some providers think that their looks are are worthy of a higher price. I agree that this guys attitude is bad and she should cut him off but at least think about it b4 you throw anyone in the tank or call him an idiot
Tell him if he is not happy with your price, tell him to go elsewhere.
