The only way to stop a virus at the start is to stop people infected from spreading it. Many people have symptoms so it is easy to stop the spread because people know they are sick, or they get a fever so you can take their temperature and quarantine them to stop the spread.


The problem with Covid-19 is that anywhere from 50% to 85% of the people infected and spreading the virus had no symptoms. There fore no one was going to stop the spread once it got going just a little bit. The science said we couldn't stop it.

the problem with china is that they didn't tell us they were having a viral problem and info getting out of china was dodgy.

best time to shut flights down and quarantine the arrivals was in late December or early January. this is what the Japanese govt. did.

airlines were the first to cancel flights to/from china in early January.

I think this scientist is telling the truth.

She has reason to be terrified - if biden is elected - she will be deported to China
