COPY/PASTE

After much prompting by popups, I "upgraded" my browser to IE9.

Does anyone know where in the hell the nerds hid the copy and paste functions?

It probably is so obvious, but I have spent days looking.

Thanks

Just another reason that I use Firefox.

If the "alt" key does not bring up the toolbar, you can always use the ctrl+c to copy and then the ctrl+v to paste. This works in all browsers.

Yep. Love those Windows shortcuts.

I thought IE9 allowed its tool bars to be customized.
Highlight then right click choose copy. When at the site you want to deposit the item you copyed right click again and hit paste. That is the way mine is.

If you can't see the Menu bar with the usual File, Edit (cut, copy, paste), View, Tools, etc, then click in the top left corner of screen. There is an invisible icon which will bring up a menu letting you turn on /off toolbars and modify them.

Also the Windows-wide shortcuts work here:
CNTRL C - copy
CNTR V - paste
CNTR A - highlight everything on the page

Thanks, guys. For someone who has used computers daily at work and home since the early 90's, I am as nearly computer illiterate as you will find. You gave me a lot of good options. The "invisible" icon gave me the menu that is most convenient for me.

Thanks again.
