General Area: Everyone said this was the most upscale club in MTY. From an appearance perspective it was on par with a class B or class C club in Houston. Upon arrival I was given a few shots of tequila in the reception area and was led into the dance area without any cover charge. Waiters were respectful and didn't push drinks or girls on me. I went in around 3pm on a Thursday. It was pretty dead with 3 - 4 other dudes in there. The girls were really average. It was a little less than your average afternoon "B" team at the Yellow Rose in Austin. I waived off the first few girls and then found one with a cute face. She wanted to take me upstairs for an hour and a half at $10,000 pesos which seemed ridiculously high. I opted to buy her a couple of beers and then received some way below average, half assed lap dances. I then went back to my table and asked for my check. The check came and was more than I expected. Apparently they count a beer for a girl as two drinks instead of one. A drink for a girl cost the same as a lap dance $330 pesos. I was a little pissed by that and just ended up leaving. Had a much better experience with calling up local escort services. More to come on that front.....
