Do you need a special permit to drive your vehicle to MR?

You do if you will travel more than 25 km south of the border and stay for more than 72 hours, iirc. I went recently and it's 500 pesos, or about 25 dollars, and the permit is good for 6 months. I'm also looking into going to MTY soon to check out ADH girls, among others.
