Galleria Area or Katy?

I do not know if this is the proper place for this thread but I arrived in Houston last night and booked a room at the crowne plaza off southwest frwy.

Now I was considering Katy, near the mall.

Is that a good area?

Or should I stick to the area I am in for Today at Checkout?! Lol!

Any insight on my small dilemma will help!

Just a little piece of advice from a provider...that crowne plaza is hell for clients..parking..etc. But Katy is too far out. Id recommend another Galleria hotel or coming out to Westchase

I'm actually staying off I-10 at the embassy suites
Right between the tower buildings. Lol!

Whatever you do, .....

...... don't publicize where you are staying.

I live in Katy and it would be too far for a lot of clients to drive and the traffic sucks during the weekdays. I say the Galleria or Westchase.
