Thailand and phillipines experiences,. Stories, and advice

Not sure if there is an active thread on this but ive been planning to go to one or both of these countries at some point. Obviously not this year sadly because of current events but eventually. Anyone have any suggestions or tips? Should i go alone? I don't have any friends who can tag along with me but i do have a few girls in Philippines i talk to online who are also willing to "provide" for me, which is why Philippines is first on the list. But id like to know more about Thailand too.

Disclaimer: im not a party guy, i hate crowds and i dont drink. So im not sure how well the whole bar girl thing would work for me. I heard there is an app tho that you can call girls straight to your room. Forgot the name.

The news folks have said that PI has been under a strict lockdown . . .everything closed.

I have made several trips to Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand....would highly recommend both, but certainly not now....wait until the world reopens, then you will have a blast there.

Thailand is awesome. The land of smiles! I like Patong, just outside of Phuket.

Thailand - I've been there several times. Wonderful country. Along with Bangkok, the north is great (eg Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai) as well as the beaches in the south (Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, Phucket).
Awesome massages (some are legit, others provide extras) - so you could go to massage places instead of bars for fun.
Just be wary of lady boys.
No problems going alone to Thailand.

I have a friend living in Bangkok now, says it's not so bad with the virus thing. That said, I'd probably wait a bit before going.


If in Thailand, you could always take a quick side trip to Cambodia. Didn't hobby there (apparently cheaper than Thailand) but a great place as well -- friendly people, safe, etc. Ankar Wat a must see.


I've not been but hear VietNam is terrific, as well. Singapore is also good, legal but pricey compared to Thailand. The four floors of whores is an experience.

This is a huge consideration. If you like partying, crowds and drinking, Thailand is one of the best places in the world to hunt poontang. If you don't like any of those it's not quite as interesting.

Smooci is probably the app you're thinking about it. I tried to use it once and was frustrated, the woman kept canceling.

Given your preferences, you might try the massage parlors in Bangkok. There are huge ones, a number on Ratchadaphisek Road, that are comparatively classy and have attractive women. You stand behind a glass and pick a woman by the number she's wearing, and then go to a room with a hot tub. These places cater more to Thai and other Asian clientele.

There are a lot of other massage places, which aren't as upscale, in areas frequented by Europeans, Americans, etc. Many are close to Sukhumvit Road. You will find some attractive women mixed in with the not-so-attractive ones.

If you go I'd encourage you not to try to stick with escorts like the ones on Smooci. Also you should try some of the go go bars in Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza (two of the famous nightlife districts) even if you don't drink. The beauty of these places is you can meet and interact with lots and lots of attractive women before you make your picks.

Don't know so much about the Philippines - I've only been there once -- but suspect the same applies. It's a place where hunting on the ground makes a lot more sense than over the internet, unless you're looking for a civilian or semi-pro. Then I'd go with the dating sites or seeking.com, not with escorts.

Thailand should open up before Angeles City... The thought is of all the spots worldwide Thailand and Austria will be first. Greece has action might be sooner. As for me I am on the first flight to ' anywhere'; in time all will be open. Sadly I don't see the full monger scene back to full capacity, full lineups and life as we knew it until 2022 but certainly next year life. I am gambling based on some info and re-booking next months ticket to GER to Bangkok in September. Nothing to lose, just re-book again. Eventually some destination will open; might not be our first choices but under the circumstances..

500 Baht is $17 USD.

1500 Baht is $50 USD.

2500 Baht is $84 USD.

A Thai vacation for me means I get to see a beautiful country and have fun with the Ladies for a 1/4 of US cost.
