several of those have already been discovered as to what/who they really are. the cell phone lady, the chinese guy in front of the tanks, and the spheroids on mars

I love this kind of stuff. Hook Island sea monster is also generally regarded to be a money-making hoax. It's believed to be some plastic sheeting weighted down with sand. One of my favorite mystery photos turned hoax is the The Cottingley Fairies photo (from the awesome Museum of Hoaxes website.)

some ghosts like to be included in the pic ...who would have guessed.

Some are attention hogs.
