I've been thinking lately that it might be nice to have a forum under Pittsburgh that is "semi-private" - that any user can access, but that you would have to at least be logged into a user account to be able to see. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to have discussions with relatively wide participation, but that are only visible to people who are actually members here - and, perhaps just as importantly, that don't get indexed by Google.
Is this something that has been considered before, or that could be considered?
