Why Hasn't The Republican Party Been Able to Nail Hunter Biden?

You had me going 12-15 months ago. When Trump made the ''perfect'' phone call to Ukraine, I thought he had strong information. But shortly after that, Guiliani, the head guy on the case, went silent. He had been making the rounds on TV, explaining the explosive charges were about to be blown open.

Then silence for about a year. QANON ups the ante, now Hunter is also a Trafficker. That shit it is all over Facebook, but no real media gives it credibility.

What happened? Were these all lies from the start? If Hunter got all this money from China, from the Moscow Mayor's wife, why did Biden Sr. Own the moment at the debate? Polls show Biden's praising Hunter for beating a drug problem, was the number one score point of the whole debate.

I'm looking for responses other than ''the media is in bed with Xi'', or ''the liberals just wanted to impeach the bad Orange Man''. Right now This is all conspiracy nonsense to me. Those types of responses will only confirm that belief.
Because it’s conspiracy nonsense. But because that was a Republican line for months in absolving Trump for calling Ukraine for campaign help the Republicans were stuck with trying to prove it. When there was no proof, they’ve just stuck with innuendo, because that works just as well for the Idiot Crew and the rest of trumps hard core followers.

The answer before yours is reasoned and thought out. Yours, quite frankly, is lazy and devoid of anything beyond conspiracy bullshit.

I'll see if I can get something real out of you.

What ''collusion''? Between who? If it's Papa Joe's mess, why rail against Hunter?
"because its conspiracy nonsense" is well reasoned?

what a joke

This really isn't that hard to understand. Hunter Biden got that job that he was not qualified for because of who his father is. Was that illegal? No, it wasn't. Did it present a "conflict of interest and the appearance of impropriety" that the son of the Vice President who at the time was taking the lead on all matters Ukraine? Yes it did and it has been reported that even Obama himself posed the question to Joe Biden about his son working for Burisma and Biden told him that it "wouldn't be a problem".

Could the investigation into Hunter "prove" he did anything illegal or that Joe Biden was influenced in his decision making by his son having a job at Burisma? No it did not but then that's why one tries to eliminate these appearances of impropriety so people don't speculate and cause political if not legal problems.

Was it illegal for Joe Biden to invite his son Hunter along on Air Force two on a trip to China on which Hunter came back with a deal in his pocket with the Bank of China worth over 1 billion dollars? Apparently not. Did it look good? It did not.

Another State Department official, Amos Hochstein, is described in the report as having raised concerns directly to Biden because he was concerned Russians were using his son’s role with the company to sow disinformation. Biden did not take action, the report says.
The report says that though State Department officials regarded the head of the company, Mykola Zlochevsky, as corrupt, Biden did not confront him or link him to corruption.

“What the chairmen discovered during the course of this investigation is that the Obama administration knew that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board was problematic and did interfere in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” the report says.
Even so, the report acknowledges that the extent to which Hunter Biden’s board position affected Ukraine policy is “not clear.” It does not establish that specific policy decisions were influenced by Biden’s position.

In other words, though it looked shady as hell, no paper trial of any illegal activity could be found. Doesn't mean verbal deals weren't made.

Or how about Joe's brother James Biden landing a job he also had no qualifications for at Hillstone International which one month later landed a 1 1/2 billion deal to construct housing in war torn Iraq.

https://warroom.org/quid-pro-joe-biden-iraq/

Joe Biden’s track-record of wheeling and dealing is more than what journalists, congressional investigative bodies, and even President Trump have made of it.

How big is it?

Well, imagine if President Harry Truman, after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, used his political position to give his own family a multi-billion-dollar contract to rebuild cities in Japan.

It was in June of that year that HillStone International, a relatively new homebuilding concern, landed a $1,500,000,000 contract to build homes in Iraq.

Vice President Biden’s brother, James Biden, had landed an executive position at HillStone just months earlier.

To understand just how grave, how corrupt, how unseemly this is, consider the backdrop to Biden’s 2011 family deal-making.
Starting in 2009, just after then Vice President Biden took oversight of the Obama administration’s Iraq policy, the U.S. began to withdraw from a mangled Iraq.

The withdrawal, completed in 2011, only made things worse for the people of Iraq.

If the initial invasion broke their means of maintaining order and securing their own towns and families, the withdrawal went one, brutal step further.

Under Biden, the U.S. abandoned those vulnerable Iraqis while creating a power vacuum that aided their enemies–merciless Jihadist militants.
Over the coming months and years, much of Iraq was reduced to rubble.

Even as that tragedy began to unfold, one of its high architects, 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden, had already found a way to enrich his family at the expense of the most vulnerable people of Iraq.

The Bidens denied it, but David Richter Jr, president of HillStone’s parent company Hill International, was very forthcoming about the value he saw in taking James Biden onboard as Executive Vice President of Hillstone’s housing development in November 2010.

According to a person who was present, Richter told a group of investors that it really helped to have “the brother of the vice president as a partner.”
In 2012, Richter’s father boasted to the Fox Business Network: “People who have important names tend to get in the door easier,” and even joked that if James Biden “had the name Obama he would get in the door easier.”

The same year, the New York Post’s Charles Gasparino reported on what he called a “good deal for [Hillstone International], a relative newcomer to building homes — and for James Biden, who as one partner will get a good share of that $1.5 billion.”

But by the beginning of 2014 the deal had already evaporated, and Irvin Richter, who could hardly contain his boasts about the deal just 14 months earlier, told the magazine Arabian Business that Hill had been “wrong” to enter into it.

Beyond that, Richter seemed to shrug off the whole thing, citing a lack of “experience” in the market. Today, Hill still has offices in Baghdad, and project management contracts–for sums in the low millions.

Again, I am no investigative journalist, but some enterprising reporter might do well to ask Joe Biden why the 2011 deal disappeared so quickly, almost as soon as his brother James had secured his “good share of that $1.5 billion.”

Right about now, I imagine you are saying something like "yeah but Trump is just as bad" but the point is, if you are a Biden supporter "you don't care about any of this" in much the same way the left accuses people who support Trump about not caring about such things.

It would seem that everybody in politics does things that look shady in enrich themselves and their family and friends and Joe Biden is no exception.

So before you get on that high horse and claim that Biden is some how different than Trump, take a good look at all the "appearances of impropriety" that surround Joe Biden and don't kid yourself that Joe Biden is a less corrupt man than Trump, he isn't but then you don't care do you?

Could it be that the filtered american version of itar-tass buries mass corruption and tries to keep the american public in the dark .

Hmmm
or maybe its the lame excuses given by those accused saying it is discredited when it totally isnt as the left media ignores the facts and truth.

or maybe the public is so tired of hearing of false accusations by the left for four years and are so confused by it they just bury their heads in the sand

or maybe its the election is so close the bidens get away with the excuse , its only election dirt to affect its outcome.

So if you care at all about freedom and justice for all americans .That those who have abused the power we have given them and enriched themselves at our expense and toil should pay a price for their abuses.

That the arrogance of those in power should not continue in their ways unabated and unrepentant.

Then have a read below , those who care not continue on your way of acceptance of these things as nothing . It is you who will continue to empower those who abuse and exploit and deny justice.

Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

All 11 transactions described the payments as “Loan Agreement” in the details section.

The report reads, “[B]etween May 6, 2015 and Dec. 8, 2015, Baturina sent 11 wires in the amount of $391,968.21 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA LLC (BAK USA). Nine of the 11 transactions, totaling $241,797.14 were sent from Baturina’s accounts to a Rosemont Seneca Thornton bank account, which then transferred to the money to BAK USA. The 11 transactions all listed ‘Loan Agreement’ in the payment details section.

“BAK USA was a startup technology company headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y., that produced tablet computers in cooperation with unnamed Chinese business partners. BAK USA filed for bankruptcy on March 29, 2019, with a reported loss of $39 million. These transactions were identified because of Baturina’s reported criminal activity,” it continues.

The probe and report’s commission were overseen by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

Their investigative work found that in 2015, two Obama administration officials voiced concerns to White House officials about the possibility that the younger Biden serving on the board of Burisma could create the appearance of a conflict of interest, as his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, oversaw Ukraine policy.

The report states that the Obama White House knew that Hunter’s position prevented “the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” but that attempts by officials to raise alarms fell “on deaf ears.”

It also alleged that Hunter “formed significant and consistent financial relationships” with the founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and that his and his business partner Devon Archer’s firms “made millions of dollars from that association” while his father was vice president.

The committees also said they obtained records from the US Treasury Department that “show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.”

The report adds, “The records also note that some of these transactions are linked to what ‘appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.’”

The younger Biden had no material experience to serve on the board of the energy and gas company, but was given a high-paying seat regardless.
