First time in Dallas

Addison/Galleria is where you will end up, so no need to try and convince you otherwise. No real parking or safety issues, either.

Yep Addison is probably best place , if you are in hotel there should be plenty of parking space which is safer than street parking but I have never had to do street parking for the hotel or motel in Addison
