Women's March Activist (Tamika Mallory) Kicked off AA Flight.. Riveting Video

lengthy explanation, but captivating.. another case of Airlines treating customers like crap.. I believe her account of what happened, and my take is:

(1) Miss Mallory copped a bit of an attitude, initially, with the (Black) ticket agent.. the TA does not know why the system failed, and switched the seats.. I can't blame the agent for returning a bit of attitude.

(2) the White Pilot was right, that "respect goes both way".. true, he assumed the ticket agent had told him the correct story, but I think he was fine saying that.

(3) where things derailed was the Pilot's "I'll show her" follow up. I think his first fear was that she might be rowdy on the plane, but after his confrontation at the plane's entrance, that fear should have alleviated.. the show of force that followed was completely out of line, and the Pilot should be fired, and AA sued.

it will be interesting to see where this goes from here.

Yep! Huge overreaction.

Very typical of airlines.

Lol. I have to side with the airline on this one. Nice try though.

Dang racist white master protecting his black coworker. AA has preferred status?

One thing I didn't get was her description of her son or brother? Was it her son or her brother. because she used both interchangably like she was from West Virginia and it confused the hell out of me.

so.. why do you support "the Airline"? is it because Mallory needs to be taught a lesson?

She overreactied... simple as that. She needs to show some humility.

The situation was not a big deal and she made it one. She knew what ticket she bought. The lady tried to help her and probably got frustrated by her attitude and thought the hell with you. This is like a kid throwing a temper tantrum over ice cream.

The issue with the friend she didn't talk much about. But the pilot didn't know the connection between the two. For them to throw him off too he must have done something also.

When will the airlines freakin' learn? Geez. Public opinion on the stories will never end on the airlines sides....EVER!

Everyone at the airline who deals with customers should be trained to ask themselves, "Are my actions going to be reported on the 6 o'clock news in a bad way?" If, yes, stop! Take no more action.

They are such an easy target right now.
