Were they horrible the day before they discovered ECCIE?

Why is so much effort put into trying to tout the horror of Back Page while day after day guys are reviewing positive experiences and girls make the transformation?

Is it a naughty little secret in the midst of everyone's naughty secret?

I agree that back Page represents far more risk.... BUT... Isn't that attributable to the considerably larger volume of talent available?

Back page is a tool like ECCIE and P411. A seasoned hobbyist can go through the listings in record time spotting the agencies, rip offs, and same old fake picture ads in record time. Interesting fact... I have been able to schedule a session on BP but get no response on ECCIE. One will find different pricing and specials as well.

I am still new to theses parts, So I avoid BP. But Uncle Looking raises a question. I can see why a lady would advertise in two (or as many as possible) different venues, but why the different #, prices, service, etc? The business school dropout in me things it strange to say the least.

I view it as supply & demand.

And like shopping in amazon vs Macy's. Its the same shit, you just pay more for it...IE paying for the eccie "brand".

Too lazy to think or type.....so I'll just copy and paste my previous post. It's a simplification of what I really think it is, but gives you an idea.....

Lots of consideration when venturing into BP. Many categories of advertisers on BP:

1) Girls are just starting off and don't really know what they're doing. They choose to use fake pictures because they are a) afraid to use their actual pics for privacy concerns b) using a picture they feel would fairly represent themselves

2) Scam artists looking to get easy income from unsuspecting suckers. They choose to use fake pictures because a) there really isn't any girl involved b) they don't want their scamming faces plastered online so their suckers can easily identify them for revenge.

3) Providers who for one reason or another, couldn't make it on ECCIE. They choose to use fake pictures because a) their real pictures are just too ugly to get any attention b) they already have a bad rep, so are hoping for a fresh start

4) Legit providers who advertise on ECCIE, but also advertise on BP as an extra advertising avenue. Especially useful for meeting short notice needs.

5) LEO sting operation

As long as you have ways of screening out 2) 3) and 5), no reason to discount BP altogether. Bait and switch is just one of many things you need to look out for. Even if you find a hot chick who looks just like the pictures, how do you know what level of service you're going to get until you schedule with her? Exactly. I also use backpage from time to time and make no bones about it. From a lady's standpoint, I have seen no discernible difference in the clients I have met. In fact, most of the guys I consider to be my regulars, ie, have seen over four times, have come from there. I like it. It's cheap; it's effective. What's not to love?

I've found that there are more flakes on BP. I do have a couple of regulars from there, but for the most part, that is where most of my NCNS guys come from. I'm not saying they are not on here, but guys on here do seem more reliable than BP.

You know, it's weird Tammy. I think I have been really lucky, but I have had very good experiences there. I tend to ignore a lot of emails when I advertise there. For instance, if you can't string two sentences together, I won't reply. So, there is a lot more sifting through to be sure. Screening is definitely more difficult. Get a lot of this is my first time (uhhh, really?). I do a lot more screening with real world information there, which does make me a little nervous. I worry more about running into LE when I advertise there. I also don't put my phone down, same as here. All communication and screening is done before first contact. I really like the screening website I use, and sometimes know there name and where they work before we even speak. I try and get a feel for who they are, white collar, professional, etc before I make the decision to speak on the phone, not that those guys can't be asshats as well. I guess that helps. I don't know why I've had such good luck there considering the possibility of it going awry. I'm sure I'm due some idiocy.

Sometimes, It is a breath of fresh air to see a bp client that is not disgruntled and jaded yet! It goes both ways, folks. Sorry, but it is kind of true. The gentlemen I have met from there have been appreciative and no nonsense.They seem extremely happy and nothing puts a smile on my face better than knowing I have satisfied him.

I never understood the ridiculing of BP's escort section. It's just another tool for client/provider relations. I'd say about a quarter of the ladies I've seen advertise exclusively on BP, and about a third to half advertise there as well as here or elsewhere. Vetting the fakes and scammers takes more work, but not that much. I guess my attitude is, if it doesn't work for you as a client or a provider, fine, but why should anyone feel the urge to trash-talk it and those for whom it does work?
