Subscribe to threads or forums don’t work?

When subscribe to a thread or a forum and get a notifications doesn’t work at all.
Is there any setup in the edit options that I missed?

The notification by email to subscribe to a thread or a forum does not work even when I get a PM there is no email notification!

Anyone wants to response to this?
Any MOD to response will be much appreciated.
