Porn star or just another provider

I've noticed quite a few advertisements for so called porn stars who come into town and have these outrageous prices but when you google them most of them have only done two or three movies, does that make them a star and justify the extra rate increase ?
A lady's rates are hers and hers alone.

"Porn star" is almost as undefined as "new and improved" or "world famous".
They are worth it if they find enough customers at that price. Me personally, that (their film resume) is not one of the factors I consider when deciding whether to see a lady or how much I am willing to spend.
Have seen 2 ladies who qualify as honest to gosh pornstars, several dozen scenes each. I found them both to be lacking in service. Both rated a 10 on looks butt that's the only reason they would be able to command premium rates.
Ignoring the rate issue, it's their definition of "star" that baffles me. Some are porn actresses, having been in major productions, but still not a star. And some are just porn bodies, used for some gonzo porn series. In sports, Derek Jeter is a star, the guy sitting on the end of the bench is just a player. He's on the team & in the game occasionally, but he's not a star.
I would not qualify that as a porn star for sure. However, despite such a provider's delusions of grandeur and as noted above, she is entitled to charge whatever she wishes. You have to decide if it worth the price.
There are a few porn stars that I would pay top dollar for (but that's because it's a hot girl that I want to fuck, having nothing to do with her "porn star" status). Naturally there are other girls that I would likewise pay top dollar based upon their beauty and recommendation. However, being a porn star has nothing to do with that equation.

The rate isn't what " gets to me " it's the term that they use to justify their rate. If a provider charges 4 or 500 an hr then that's their rate, but don't say you're a " star " when in actuality you were just a fluff girl in a blow bang movie.
Depends on who you are asking. Porn star by definition is simply a porn actress. "she has starred in pornography" is the intended meaning I believe.
Within the world of porn a porn star is a girl is gets the cover. she is considered the highest rated actress within the production. A porn actress can do 10 movies but if she gets the cover of all 10 she would be called a porn star.
General mass believe it is an actress whom has done hundreds of movies and is a commonly known name. such as jenna jameson.
However actual porn stars (those that are active and known) IF they are in the provider business would consider 400 or 500 an hour a low donation. Generally the more infamous the provider in this regard the higher the rate will rise.
Think of it like this. Nike makes some great sneakers. so does xyz off brand. nike charges way more. Name brand and well known brands always charge more.
Another reason "porn stars" who market this way may charge more is because they will likely do more. The average provider will not concede to speak greek or condone multiple partners in the same date. Most providers will not offer bare back sessions or "cream pies" However with some porn stars the client may find these things on the menu. some or all.

I've always thought the legit porn stars are always tested as we'll as their partner before doing a scene since a lot the scene are bb. I'm sure some would do it if the money was right but why risk it?
actually porn actors and actresses are tested once a month not before every scene. I believe it may have been bumped up to twice a month since I was in the business. However yes there is required std testing.

Shrug, I guess we all define it different ways.
I think a lady sounds desperate if her ads scream "I'm a porn star!" I'll pass thanks. Usually it's just comes off as an excuse to charge extra.
Now, if a lady simply mentions 'you may have seen me here' in the body of her ad, it can be a plus.
I thought "Porn Stars" went away with videotape when all that free video came to the internet.

I saw a few posting who came into town who I have seen in amateur movies and a couple I am big fans of, but if you look closely a lot of them are CBJ and very conservative with what they will do with you. in porn everyone is tested so just cause they do a lot of stuff in their movies doesn't mean in person they will obviously. so in that aspect if you are looking to 'be a fan' then go for it otherwise just watch their vids and have fun lol
