Missed appointment

Aside from being genuinely concerned for the lady's welfare, what should I expect from providers who don't keep their appointments? The first time this happened I didn't hear back from the provider until the next day. We were scheduled to meet at 6PM, I confirmed at 1PM, but no answer on the phone the rest of the night. Next day I finally got though and was told she fell asleep and didn't hear the calls. We rescheduled and all was well, but I was quite worried for her that night.

As i write this, i've been waiting for 30 minutes for my provider to answer the phone. She had pre-screened me a week or so ago, I confirmed by phone yesterday at her request, and here I am with another missed appointment.

A third provider was kind enough to write an email that she had something come up and I totally am fine with that.

I just don't know what to make of today's situation. Again, I hope she's ok, but I'd like to have a better success rate. Is this common in your experience?

The situation you encountered is generally called "no call no show" (NCNS). It happens. Either there is a genuine emergency, or the provider has poor "taking care of business" (TCB) attitude. Sooner or later, you should be able to distinguish between the two.

Like you, when I encounter a NCNS, my first concern is always not my wasted time, but whether something bad has happened to her.

Frustrating. So sorry this happened. Sounds like you're developing a strategy to deal with it. Most gents find that communication from the provider about why she missed is required for a "second chance." No communication? Most don't bother with her again.

You'll also find discussion boards such as these helpful. Ladies who do this often tend to end up with comments on these boards. If you see more than one NCNS by a lady, you may wish to look elsewhere. Most gents find, over the years, that TCB not behind closed doors and TCB BCD are synonymous.

If you don't have references it's possible she could be worried that you are LE?

Hey qix..wow..sorry to hear about your nocall/no show..and weird that another provider sent you an email for this providers shortcomings..which i wouldn't like because that means your biz is becoming everyone's biz without your okay of it...Id def do some searching on this provider and see if this is the way she handles her biz..and the other provider as well..the person that should be sending you the email /pm is the provider that stood you up..not someone else.
id feel alil unsettled if I had received a pm or email in regards to someone I was going to see from another person...like I said..search these ladies out first before setting up times to see them...you may find others have had issues with them as well and this is the norm for them and how they handle their biz.....good luck to you..nita

It states that you had been pre screened by at lease one lady, but did the other two? DO you have reputable references? Or were they screening you by just talking on the phone? I only ask this because you have very few posts, and no reviews. Doesn't mean that your a newbie, but that is just my assumption.

As far as being a provider, and having to cancel, I try my best to make sure I call/text/email if I am going to have to cancel as soon as I know. IE) last week I was supposed to be in Buffalo, and half way through, had car troubles I had to cancel. Lucky for me everyone understood. But I also extended either some extra time or a discount when I am scheduled to go back to Buffalo. Your time is just important to me as mine. If you had to cancel, I would hope that you would let me know ASAP instead of being a NC/NS.

Okay I totally misread that..lol..sorry...i wont be doing 5 different things at the same time anymore.....plus i gotta stop drinking so early in the morning!! j/kidding!! ...yes..now pre-screening..what really did that entail? Im not sure....Ive never pre-screened anyone before..Ive just gotten right down to the nitty gritty right away...

I never confirm an appointment the day before..too many things can come up inbetween..always an hour or two prior on the same day....

And if I have to cancel due to being sick or family issues..Ill let them know a day prior if I can so they can make alternate plans..for some not enough time for alternate plans..however..its the best I can do..some times and yes it has happened in the past its been when the gent calls to confirm..but they can hear im my voice im dying and they def are appreciative they wont be getting what I got! We resced and things are good...

I'm obsessive about coordination on a planned meeting. TCB is co-equal with BCD IMO.

I want to touch base the day before and the day of at least an hour in advance.

The day before is critical because I'm often juggling a whole day of work to make that slot work and sometimes that will inconvenience others.

At least an hour in advance the day of is important for older guys who take a man pill for that extra boost of... well let's say confidence.

I'm not looking for a love note, just a response to my checking as simple as 'k'.

On my end, if I need to cancel, I actively try to give as much notice as I can and once I get inside a next-day window it feels just wrong to have to cancel for any reason.

This obsession to coordinate may take some romance out of things but it contributes a great deal to piece of mind.

Life happens. Appointments will be canceled. All of that is fine.

"Oversleeping" doesn't work when I miss work though. Contacting someone in advance if there is a problem is a common courtesy and a business necessity.

I think there is a difference between a NCNS and someone not having references or not having the references submitted panning out. If a provider usually does screening and offers an appointment prior to finishing her work, shame on her. If she is in the least bit concerned the potential date is LE, what would it hurt to at least cancel the appointment. I assume if the two parties have already set a time, they have had contact either via phone or email. Its not like you are giving out information on how to get in touch with you, The right thing to do is cancel the appointment in every case. I know that things do come up on both sides that lead to cancelled visits, but everyone should make an efort to be considerate.

I do have a long history of contributing on other boards and provided my handle. The woman accepted what I had and we made a date for early evening on the day of my arrival. An hour prior to the appointment I called to confirm. She gave me the general area on her location (not really close to where I was staying). When I got near the area I again called and was sent directly to voice mail. I tried again for the next 1/2 hour or so and kept getting voice mail. I called it quits and went back to my hotel with a case of blue balls. Never heard back from this woman, but I have seen her advertise and she is still around. She will not get a second chance with me!

Quix, Man I would not recall the sleeping lady myself. I know things happen, but alarm clocks have been around for quite some time now. You are correct though I would first be concerned for her like you and Jack have stated. The ladies that I have been fortunate enough to have share themselves with me have became my friends, and it just enhances the experiences for me. Search further as there are ladies on here posting that have great TCB skills and you won't have a NCNS with them, just great service and a great time, and great feeling!!

I was going to quote what Bob wrote above as I do the same as he and for the same reasons. My own situation makes it necessery to make my escape plan a day before, so I too confirm the day before whenever possible, I have no choice in most cases, except with ladies I have seen before that i know there are no worries about. And as Bob states also i need the hr. or so confirmation for the man vitamin to activate.... Thanks to Bayer ;-) !!

Thanks Laker! I travel all over NY state and my experience is that the highest percentage of quality providers are located in the Rochester area.
I am in the area a few times a year and have had some great dates with your local ladies.

I already have something lined up for the next visit and if what I have heard is any where close to accurate, I'm in for another good time.

Your welcome, and you are correct there are some very special ladies here!! Kind of jealous, wish I was traveling in here myself had the room and could order in room service!! :-)

I must be to easy. I only stop seeing the ones that fall asleep when with me, and it was not a planned overnight. Well a nap is ok if with for the day.
