BDD has in the past, but not often. I suspect they start doing it when they get some heat about underage possibility being in the club. Or the city is on one of its crack down modes.

BDFW has never scanned an ID that I know of.

Anybody knows what goes behind ID scan? Is it only for age check or they store the customer ID info in case required later?

Do a search on the internet. There are specific restrictions on what information can be retained.

I worked at a club in another state and they were networked in case someone had been 86'd started a fight, didn't pay a tab etc
